Burke Urban are assessing the realistic option of recycling site materials such as limestone rock which be surplus as a result of racecourse and equestrian estate construction and which we can re use in the making of retaining wall blocks, pavers, building construction and road base.

We have embarked on a cost benefit analysis to utilise the estimated 250,000 cubic metres of limestone rock within the Equine Living precinct which must be removed to accommodate the proposed use.The current estimated volume of rock just in the Equine Living zone could alone produce 1,875 kilometres of 350mm retaining wall or 2.1 million square metres of pavers
