It is anticipated that the Gifford Hill Racecourse and associated building will become a centrepiece for the Gifford Hill community.  It will be a world class major sporting centre in a semi-rural setting. With its beginnings embedded in the urban fabric of Murray Bridge, it will be a link between Murray Bridge and Gifford Hill and provide a third place for Gifford Hill and Murray Bridge residents. Not to mention the fact it will attract visitors from the state and nationally.
